'Soul Searching' features R&B crooner Azekel delivering mystical, angelic vocals over ethereal production that includes Latin, Afro and jazz elements. Grammy-nominated Ikaey Asanga (Wizkid, Davido) plays winding saxophone melodies on the track.

'Palme D'Or' is a cinematic journey. An intense story narrated by hard-hitting rap vocals, laid over fast-paced drums, and crunchy percussions. The track delivers an industrial sound that simultaneously maintains its high intensity and dancefloor friendliness throughout.

Accompanying the release is a visual for Soul Searching shot in the desert by Blaize Fobbe (Jack Harlow, SiR, Art de L’Automobile) and Marlon Webster Paine (Between There and Now Too, Enfants Riches Deprimés). The release also includes a triptych set of artworks designed by Haya Morowa.

Afterz is a music project led by multidisciplinary producers Troy. and Très Chill. The project is supported by a network of talented collaborators across music, design, photography and film. The music is a hybrid of sonic palettes and tones, inspired by experiences of dance music culture in cities and communities around the world. This debut offering is a preview of what’s to come.
